I wouldn't call failing 3rd party support success. It's only 1st party developers who are mastering the cell, they have no choice but to spend immense resources on mastering it since they are owned by Sony.
You can argue that the PS3 exclusives looks better than Xbox360 games, but thats highly subjective since I have heard a lot ...
You guys don't know what MS is going to do with the 720, power wise, so your claims are speculation at best. You don't even know what Sony is going to do. Didn't they sold some of the cell rights to Toshiba? That shows you their faith in cell.
The PS3 is already fighting fiercly with the 360, losing market share. Not to mention that the console division are in a loss of $3 billion. If anyone is deperate, it's Sony.

The more games they have for their consumers, the more consumers will buy their product, the more money they make. So Predator is actualy right. What console manufacturer doesn't want more games for their consumers?
What about MMO's? How much does WOW cost? Let's say you play three MMO's, now you must pay for all three? Can a friend send you an invite from another game to come and join him? XBL is a unified online system which makes it better than PC on-line. A payed for services is always better than a free service
I wish these sony fans can respect our choice to pay for xbox live as well. It's a great service and I don't mind to pay for a great service. If it was crap then I wouldn't pay a cent for it.

Last time I checked there where more than 10 million people on xbox live. so I guess you can take your troll/PS3 fanboy statements to the open zone. Also, for a $300 dvd player, it displays GTAIV at a higher resolution than your precious PS3, ouch!

The Cell is VERY powerfull, no doubt, but getting a high framerate in games needs more than just a CPU. It's how the architecture comes together with the RAM and GPU. Developers are struggling to translate this "power" into games.
